Detachable Hoods have 2 snaps on the back allowing it to be snapped onto the back of the collar and be removed easily. The hood is designed to wrap around in front and has 2 sets of snaps which allow adjustment for comfort. There is a draw cord around the opening which allows you to adjust the opening size to keep out the cold. Attached Hoods are sewn on to the garment in place of the collar. Instead of snaps in the front, the zipper comes up to the top like it would on the collar. The draw cord is still around the opening.
